Seven Months Old Today

I got to spend the whole day with my cutest little brother. My mom had some back surgery today so I got to be the babysitter and got to spend the whole day with Seth, so we used the time to take some seven month old photos!

The Cutest Nephew

Caidan has to be one of the cutest boys ever to wear a pumpkin hat! The pose is also too adorable!

Shopping, Crafting, and Organizing

So Sara and I had a ritual this summer of spending most Saturday mornings shopping at garage sales and Goodwill...well Sara was at Kings Island so I spent the the morning going shopping by myself. I scored some great finds...even some Christmas gifts!
Here were some of the finds:
These were pillows I got from Goodwill--originally from Target--I got them for $5.00 for all 3!

3 sweaters--$3.50 a piece and 2 skirts--$2.00 a piece from Goodwill!

This is a bag that a family from my center that recently left gave me as a going away present. Cute style--but the embellishments...so not me. So I revamped it to be more me!

So I have lately been reorganizing and styling my scrapbook area--decided that I wanted an open feel and to be able to see all my products--so my inspiration was glass jars and metal containers. Most of the purchases are from garage sales and Goodwill.

This is my letter storage area...the top drawers hold my chipboard alphabets and the bottom drawers hold my ABC foam and rubber stamps. On top of the drawers are my ribbon jars.
This spice rack was a garage sale find and holds my little embellishments, sorted by color. The other jars hold my floss and fibers, and my most used tools.

These cups hold my markers and pens sorted by color.

This shelf holds common used things: tools, paint supplies, and pictures.

These containers hold my ABC stickers, stickers, and themed papers.

These are all my stamps--rubber and acrylic.

This crate holds my in progress projects and unfinished albums.

These are all my embellishments and supplies sorted by color. On top of this shelf is random supplies.

This is my inspiration wall...these people, my family are the ones who inspire everything I do.

These are my papers--sorted by color--and my die cutting machine and supplies. The paper crate on the left is full sheets (12x12, 8.5x11, 8x8) and the crate on the right is scraps.

This is one of my favorite items in the room--idea stolen from Sara--a bright green metal
ironing board turned into a magnetic board.
When I feel that the room is done I will update with finished pics!
